There’s no way to prepare yourself for a) how much stuff you accumulate to take care of your baby, b) how many possibly products there are to choose from, and c) how many opinions there are on which products will hopefully not give your child cancer at some point in their lives.
And while celebrity parents Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are hilarious and relatable, are they really qualified to bring us responsible products we can trust for our precious little ones?
“As a mom of two,” says Bell, “I know how beautifully messy parenthood can be, and that’s why we created Hello Bello – a line of premium, super-effective baby care products to take care of your kids from head-to-butt-to-toe.”
Short answer? Yes. Their new line of products, Hello Bello, uses only the safest, most effective, and organic ingredients and they collaborated with a team of experts in order to make sure that’s actually true.
Bonus? They’re available at Walmart and the prices are more than reasonable.
“Our products are fresh and fun. More importantly, we use plant-based ingredients and organic botanicals that are better for our kids and better for our world” and partnering with Walmart allows them to “offer premium products at a non-premium price.”
The line includes diapers, wipes, shampoo and body wash, bubble bath, baby lotion, diaper rash cream, hand sanitizer, mineral sunscreen, bug spray, and laundry detergent, and all of the products range from $2 to $24 (see? reasonable!).
The ingredients live up to the hype, with the body wash, lotion, and bubble bath containing yummy smelling plants and none of the stuff that landed Johnson & Johnson in court.
The hand sanitizer (just $2!) is made without triclosan, synthetic fragrance parabens and it kills germs while “promoting soft skin with botanical extracts like aloe and green tea”
I don’t know about you, but I’m anxious to get my hands on some of this stuff and see how I like it. If it’s half as awesome as the people who put their name on it, it’s bound to blow my skirt up.
That’s for sure.
