Mom Creates Princess Costumes To Combat Postpartum Depression

New mom Evelyn Deets promises that she is not a professional seamstress, just a woman with a sewing machine and the memory of an Ariel costume her mother once sewed for her.

It’s not only a brilliant idea – because when you’re struggling with postpartum depression, anything that can help you feel a closer bond with your child is amazing – but the secondhand bonus is that we all get to enjoy them, too.

One Month – Snow White

And these pictures are wonderful.

Two Months – Sleeping Beauty

Three Months – Merida

Four Months – Moana

Five Months – Jasmine

Six Months – Pocahontas

Seven Months – Cinderella

Eight Months – Belle

Nine Months – Anna

Ten Months – Elsa

Eleven Months – Tinkerbell

One Year – Rapunzel

The results are photographs that both Evelyn and her daughter will be able to look back on and cherish for a lifetime.
