Listen, if there’s one thing I know for sure about the world, it’s that human beings understand very little of it. Kids sometimes seem to inherently grasp a bit more, even if it’s just instinct, and they talk about things that seem odd to the rest of us, too – just because they’re not yet concerned with what other people think.
This guy explains how his young Austrian cousin was essentially a reincarnated pilot who fought on the side of the Germans during WWI – and he’s got plenty of evidence to back it up.
It began with him being what adults would call an “old soul,” being able to play the piano like a prodigy because he remembered how he did it “when he was big,” and always wanting to lead the other kids into the war.
Sort of kid stuff, but sort of not, right?
But he knew a lot about WWI-era planes, so much that he could do detailed drawings.
And in one of his drawings, he’s “killing Frenchmen” like he was told, but then the RAF killed him first.
Yeah. Creepy, right?
As he got older he talked about it less, did fewer odd things, because I can only assume he became aware it was odd. But then one night, he was watching a show about the era and, after some prodding, remembered his previous “name.”
Stunned.
Even though his cousin believes he’d be happy flying again, his cousin never wanted to. Haunted by the past, perhaps.
Commenters just love these stories, and wonder too why he didn’t go into the Air Force.
Someone else went looking for a WWI pilot named Moritz and came up with this…
Yeah, I think amazing and creepy about sums it up!
What do you think about reincarnation? Why would only some people be able to remember?
I’m fascinated by stories like these – and your thoughts!
