In the realm of creepy kid tales, stories about imaginary friends are usually fairly tame. Sure, it can be weird to think of another “person” constantly at your child’s side, whispering heaven knows what into their little ears, but it’s usually harmless and the phase passes on its own.
Give it a creepy name, though, and watch them multiply every time they come to visit, and well…things can take a turn.
This mother of a 4-year-old boy wasn’t really concerned when “Bobo” showed up. Not initially. He looked like a human and was no bother aside from occasionally needing to be let into the house.

Then, he changed. He drew sharp teeth and alligator skin and a second Bobo arrived at the door.

When the family moved, it took the Bobos a couple of weeks to find them again…and by the time they were at the door asking to be let in, the had multiplied to sixteen. Yeah.

The commenters on Reddit are pretty sure they’re demons.

There were plenty of suggestions that she spend some time cleansing the house (and stop inviting the Bobos in!), which she says she already does.

I’m not 100% sure what to make of this one.
I mean…I’m sure they’re probably harmless, but I’m also not sure I’d take a chance on probably if a demon might be involved.
What do you think? Whatever it is, I think we can all agree we’re glad that she’s smudging, right?
