There’s nothing quite like growing up with siblings. No one knows you better – what your life is like, all of your hopes and fears, how to embarrass you, how to push your buttons, and how to make you feel better.
It’s all very up and down, very hugs and strangles, and there’s no way to know unless you know.
If you grew up with a sibling, you’re definitely going to know just how true all of these tweets are.
11. I had a visceral reaction to this tweet.
Why do these seem like the good old days?
I feel sorry for Netflix era kids. They will never know the high stakes adrenaline of running to the bathroom/fridge/bedroom in a single ad break, with the beckoning call of a sibling screaming “It’s ONNNNNN” to send you hurdling over furniture to get back in time.

10. I would like to know the answer to this.
I guess there’s always your parents.

9. Just so they know they’re loved.
They get you.
sibling culture is not talking to each other for awhile and then texting them “this is you” along with a picture of an ugly bird you found online

8. I wonder if his brother’s name is Zack Morris?
Though if memory serves, Zack got caught.
one time in high school my brother took my car and CRASHED it, got it fixed and put it back in the driveway all within my 6hr school day and he kept it a secret for 4 years!!! i think that’s the most sibling thing ever

7. Get your own plate.
This is my food that I definitely didn’t pay for myself.
ask a sibling for a bite of their food and they’ll act like u just asked them to donate u an organ

6. Survival instincts kick in.
Also, humans are quite territorial.
Sometimes i eat things from the fridge not because I am hungry, but because I am afraid my siblings will eat before me

5. It totally is.
Especially if you had the right kind of parents.
Just overheard my 54 year old dad tell my 58 year old aunt “don’t tell mom”
So apparently that’s a lifelong thing.

4. Those last kids have it made.
But us eldest are obviously the most responsible and successful.
Parent’s curfew with each child:
1st child: “be home by 10!”
2nd child: “alright you can stay out until midnight”
3rd child: “as long as I see you within 3-5 business days I honestly don’t care what time you’re home”I’m not mad ur mad

3. Some people are just pure evil.
And their parents are never paying attention.
some of you never grew up with an older sibling who constantly claimed player one when playing a game and it shows

2. Some days everything just goes right.
There’s nothing to do but tip your hat.

1. They have survived all of the trials.
Now, they can be trusted.

I feel like I’ve been transported back to my youth, and I kind of miss it (and I kind of don’t).
