If you’ve ever spent any time at the lake in your life, then you know there are two kinds of people who enjoy the fun and water – normal people, and the people who want to ruin the experience for everyone else just by being jerks.
These people were tired of dealing with the latter, so dad decided to be the hero and take things into his own hands.
Their family was enjoying a peaceful evening and a drink on the dock when some fishermen trolled past, disrupting their quiet and being completely rude about it in the process.
And then things get DANGEROUS AF… and these yokels didn’t even really notice.
Still, Dad might have been able to let it go until they tossed a beer bottle into the pristine water.
I’ve never seen somebody describe a body of water as “free” before… but something tells me they’ll never do that again.
OP (original poster) knows from experience that’s not the way to his father’s heart, and he recounts this tale from their childhood.
So what did Dad do. He committed. To the pettiest of revenge.
And oh was it sweet!
The tables were turned, my friends. The tables were turned.
As a lake person, I love this. There are times when you can shrug it off and go about your day, and there are times when people need to learn a lesson.
